波动的南方/Fluctuating South

南方复杂多变的历史渊源与现实情景滋养了难以简单定义的艺术形式，当我们谈论地方或在地，便不可避免地落入身份认同和地域风格的俗套之中。离散，成为一种解决方案，是无奈的结局。

展览《南方故事》探索语境变迁、制度改革、媒介转变与机构沉浮对南方艺术产生的影响。我们将重新梳理一百五十年来的南方艺术发展脉络，重点关注南方艺术模糊、争议与对抗的切面，为观众呈现持续波动中的南方艺术图景。

The complex situation of Southern China nourishes undefinable art forms. When we talk about localities, We would inevitably fall into the framework of identities and regional styles. Dissociation has become the last solution.

This exhibition attempts to present the fluctuating side of southern art over the past one hundred and fifty years. We examine how the changes of context, medium, and institutional system influenced the art scene in the South.
